- For those wanting to know more about HP, see Videos, Talks & Media, Public Lectures, and (for practitioners) the online homeopathy for infectious disease course.
There are 2 types of Practitioners that may become certified as Homeoprophylaxis (HPx) Practitioners:
- Homeopaths and healthcare providers with 500hrs or more of homeopathic education.
- MD, ND, DC, LAc, Homeopathic Students, and other healthcare providers with a minimum of 125hrs of homeopathic education in homeopathic philosophy, Materia Medica, case analysis and follow up care, need additional prerequisites to complete before starting the HPx Practitioner Certification Training.
Why do we require homeopathy training to practice homeoprophylaxis? Homeopathy is a medical science and art. The philosophy of health and disease is different from conventional medicine. Homeopathic remedies and homeoprophylaxis nosodes are expected to create a response within the immune system and the practitioner must be skilled in assessing the response and knowing how to assist the body through the process within the homeopathic specialty practice of Homeoprophyaxis.
All practitioners seeking HPx certification are required to have a working background in basic anatomy, physiology and pathology. It is especially important to understand the normal expression and possible complications of the diseases of all of the FHCi HPx Programs, to be able to assist healing with the best possible homeopathic support.
FHCi prides itself on having the best trained HPx Practitioners to assist families and individuals seeking to educate their or their children’s immune systems to enhance resistance to infectious disease.

Live zoom course offered 4 times per year. This course is approved for 6 CEU hours by ACHENA: This course is approved for six hours of continuing professional development for practicing professional homeopaths by the Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America. The purpose of professional development for the practicing classical homeopath is to fine tune skills, address gaps in practice, and to provide exposure to new ideas in the field. ACHENA approves continuing professional development programs that cover a wide range of topics including new developments in homeopathy. ACHENA supports academic freedom and healthy debate within the homeopathic community. As non-licensed professional homeopaths explore the ideas presented in approved continuing development programs, it is essential that they avoid “guaranteeing” any specific health outcomes and communicate clearly to clients that they do not diagnose or treat disease in their practice.

Where will the training be held? As long as it is local, i can attend. The only date that works for me as 4th year student is Feb 9. As we have review on 1/12 and test on 3/9. I have taken one of your original classes and have been part of the web based discussions concerning forms,. Kathryn Loeb
Hi Kathryn,
We are planning on providing this training by way of Web-X or other technology, so it will be convenient to take wherever you are located. We are firming up plans in the next week or so. So stay tuned…….
Cilla
HI trainings will be live on line so you can attend form the comfort of your own home. If you have already attend a visual/audio on the philosophy and a teleconference on the google docs you do not need to attend the full training. We have a new powerpoint for practitioners to use for public lectures. this presentation will be recorded and given to all HP supervisors so they can share, or present themselves to their community. You can attend the live presentation on the weekend of your choice or a recording will be sent to everyone who have previously been trained once we have the first one recorded. Hope this helps explian
Hi!
To make sure I understand, is only one of those training sessions required to become certified? Is there a certification test to follow? I am really very interested in doing this!
Thanks!
Hi Beth,
Thanks for your interest. Right now we are only training homeopaths. We are deciding on the procedure to include chiropractors for training as well but this isn’t in place just yet. We are doing info sessions at chiropractic offices though if you are interested in hosting one. Just contact me at FHCint@gmail.com and we can discuss dates, and details. FHCi board.
Hi Cilla

The next teleconference training is scheduled for April 6th and 13th. You can register on the site and will receive confirmation after making payment. Would love to have you participating!

When is the next training? I am a homeopath in NJ (USA).
Hi Allison. The next training is scheduled for Friday Jan 24 & Friday Jan 31. They are both 2 hour conference call sessions that also utilize a page sharing program. Please feel free to contact us at fhcint@gmail.com to discuss the pre-requisites for becoming certified. Thanks, FHCi Board.
Hi
I’m a practicing homeopath and If i understand correctly, I would take the 4 hour training and a
3 hour NIH Online Research Ethics Course, and this would all be done on line?
Is there a phone number I can call to ask questions about the content of the training’s, etc.
In appreciation
Kimberly Woods
Hi Kimberly. I’m happy to chat with you. Just email FHCi at fhcint@gamil.com and we’ll decide on a good time to connect tomorrow.
I am a homeopath in the UK, any HP Supervison courses here or are they all online? When is the next one?
Thank you
kind regards
Jak

Hello, just curious about the program for Chiropractors that you mentioned to someone earlier in a post. I’m in the Twin Cities area and interested in getting certified. Is your program for Chiropractors available at this point? Thanks so much, Dr. Faith Schumann
Yes please look under the Education tab and you will find the info there. all the courses are up and running. Thank you for your patience.
I am wondering if course info can be utilized on an IPhone as it will be when I am in my office and web would not be available only iPhone. Also can payment for course be paid by credit card rather than through paypal as I do not utilize this service
Hi Joyce,
You really need to be at a screen since we utilize a screen sharing program as well as a conference call for the training. It’s important for you to be online during the entire training.
What type of additional basic A&P does a Doctor of Chiropractic need to take this course? What type of “proof” do you need to show the additional 125 hours of homeopathy training? How can I get started?
Hi Carolyn,
It would be best to call and chat with FHCi when you have a minute. We can be reached at: 612-338-1668
I am an ND in Texas.
I am interested in this course.
Can I do it all through an online course?
Are there specific dates?
What is the cost?
Please look to the certification link. All the details are posted. New dates are not yet scheduled for next year with the online training. They will be posted in December
I see three different areas to register for listed under ND. Do I register for each one individually? And what about the A&P part? There’s not a register link under that part.
For A and P you need to find independent course, collage, or through Alternative Training in the UK: http://www.alternative-training.com/. the A and P course is great along side the pathology course.
I am a Naturopath in Texas. Can I take the training? or do I have to be a homeopath to take it?
Hello, yes you can if you have the qualifications and at least 125 hours in homeopathic training. Please see the qualifications required on the certification page.
Am I correct in thinking you must either be a Homeopath or training to be a Homeopath in order to take this course? All the HD supervisors that are some what close to me, are still quite far away, so I was looking into this training to become an HD supervisor in Oregon.
Hello Yes you need to be a homeopath or ND with Homeopathic training to be an HP Supervisor
Hello… I’m a naturopath in Indiana and I use homeopathics in my practice. I would like to become certified in your program. I am Not sure if I can do the program in any order. I would like to take the 4 hour class in October. Can you please tell me if I need to do the online classes first? I am also a member of Nash. And was in attendance at the joint homeopathic conference in Philadelphia. I already have the books needed for the program. Thank you.
Hello yes it would be best to take Golden’s class before (if that is the online class you are referring to) seeing as October is sometime away. Our 4 hour certification is designed to be the last part of training. You can also take the online ethics course before hand as that is independent of our training but needed to become a member of FHCi. Thanks
Hello,
I am a practicing certified (C. Hom) homeopath and would like to register and be certified as an HP supervisor. I am a little confused with all the different course offering. Are there any openings in the January sessions? When I go to register, only October dates come up. thank you for clarification.
HI yes just sign up I changed it.
Hi! I am a certified massage therapist and a mother and I would like to know if I could enroll in this course to be certified to provide homeoprophylaxis to parents and people in my area Sonoma county California?
Hello, our certification requirements are listed on the website. You need a foundation in Homeopathy to offer the program. It would be best to look to our directory and find a few you can refer clients out to that live near by.
Hi, Is Alternative-Training website (http://www.alternative-training.com/courses/homeopathy/foundation/prices/) a good place to study to become a Homeopath and give provide HP to families? For Texas?
Yes this is an excellent program. After the course you would need to come through our course to become certified in HP. Most schools do not give sufficient training in HP.
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner ( I have not started practicing though so I am still new. What do I need to do to get certified in this field or just HP
Hi You need a minimum of 125 hours in homeopathic training. Plus the other courses listed there on the page.
I am a certified traditional naturopath looking to become HP certified. When it comes to the 125 hours of homeopathy, do you accept the basic 125 hour course through the ACHENA accredited school, Homeopathy School International?
Yes that course is perfect. We adopted 125 hours as that seems to be the basic first year in most homeopathic schools. You need to be proficient at understanding acute illness. Next training dates are in Sept 11 and 18 3:30-5:30 pm CST sessions. thanks
thank you!
Since it has been a few years I was looking again and now notice the 150-hour course from American Medical College of Homeopathy. I’m assuming this also works but want to make sure before signing up. I would also like to know who and how I can speak to someone about A&P as well as pathology courses that are also requirements.
Hello can you answer my question as well, please. I just completed my Homeopathic training in the UK with 350 hours and got my certificate. Can I participate in the training sessions for the USA, since it is online anyway? Thanks, Yuliya
Hello yes. You have enough hours to take the course. Some of the other prerequisits are there if you feel you have insufficient training in infectious disease The training is online. Time difference is there for 6 hours off GMT. So that would be starting at 9:30 Pm both Mondays in Sept: Sept 11 and 18 3:30-5:30 pm CST sessions
2.5 hours each class. I hope this works for you.
Hi There,
I’d like to become a Certified HP Supervisor. Currently, I am a Certified Holistic Nutritionist (I will be sitting for Board Certification summer 2019) and I graduate with my MSCAM this December. Is HP Supervisor Certification an option for me? I am in love with HP (It’s what I’ve used for my own children) and would love to be certified to educate and supervise others.
Please advise.
Thank you kindly 🙂
In love, in peace, in health,
Danyelle King, CHN
Hello Sorry you would need to have training in acute care in Homeopathy and infectious disease prior to certification. check out the links on the certification tab to find out our requirements.
