Homeoprophylaxis, aka: HP, is a a way to educate the immune system toward the infectious disease process. Free and Healthy Children International (FHCi) offers a 44 month program using homeopathic remedies called “nosodes” to stimulate and educate the immune system toward the infectious disease process.  Nosodes are made from pure disease agents only, no adjuvants, growth mediums or preservatives.

We often get asked by parents seeking out HP: Is there a way to connect with other families who have experience with the program? Prospective parents, and also those whose children are already enrolled, want to know: What is this going to be like?  As HP Supervisors, we can describe the program and what to expect, but it is always better to hear from your peers.

Six parents have graciously taken the time to speak with FHCi and share their experiences to help the community. All names have been changed for this post.

3. “Maggie” Lives in Pennsylvania and has 1 son, 4 1/2 years old.

“My husband and I are both conventional medical providers. We always knew we would

never vaccinate. My husband learned about it in school.  His main professor was a Naturopathic doctor, who educated him regarding the truth about natural health and healing. On the 1^st day of school he told the students to never take a vaccine.

“I had never been able to conceive, because I was injured by military vaccines that I had in the past. Our son was adopted at birth and we knew we would never vaccinate him. After his adoption we found a homeopath who mentioned HP, so we started looking into it. I read The Solution ~ Homeoprophylaxis; The Vaccine Alterative and was blown away!  I wanted to learn more. I thought this is an amazing, incredible, awesome way to educate and train my child’s immune system. We are not scared of disease, that’s why we have an immune system! The current cycle of constant vaccination, when disease always circulates in the herd makes no sense to me. We’re not afraid of disease.  In my job I worked with sick and contagious people and I have full faith in my immune system.

“Once we learned about HP we decided: let’s do it! What do we have to lose?  We are so much happier that we did HP instead of doing nothing. Our son is 4 1/2, and we call him ‘The Teflon Man,’ because he’s so healthy! He’s never been seen by a doctor or needed the homeopath for 3 years. He’s never been sick except for 2 colds. Never had a fever, ear infection or vomited – he’s never been sick! He recovered quickly with homeopathy when he’s had a cold. I tell everyone I know, I think he’s rare.

“I had 3 vaccines as a kid for school.  My husband was not vaccinated as an adult; he works with sick people all day, and never gets sick. This is a testament to how amazing the body and the immune system are. We are good with our diet and follow Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF) principles- no sugar, eating clean food, taking cod liver oil, and probiotics.

“Even though I’m a conventional provider I don’t follow that model for myself.  I’m interested in natural healing, and it has paid off. I know a lot of people who don’t vaccinate, I know vaccine scientists who don’t vaccinate, they just don’t talk about it. They can’t speak up or they will be called a quack. My husband has been called a quack.

“The homeopath we were using for our post adoption placement checks is an HP Supervisor. She introduced us to FHCi, Kate Birch, and her book, which is one of my most prized possessions. Whenever I talk to someone – I used to have a vaccine education Facebook group – I tell them about my provider and Kate’s book, even before my son was born. 2 months after we were matched with our son we were looking for a doctor, and wanted a naturopath or chiropractor for the required height and weight checks in the adoption process. That’s when we stumbled across the doctor who is now our HP Supervisor.

“The program is so simple.  It is not a complicated process, so it didn’t take long to get into a routine. I have it all in my calendar for the whole year. Now he’s more than half way through, he’s on the 10M’s now.  That was not as easy as in the beginning, but now it is easy. I just give the remedy to him, it is really very simple, takes less than 5 minutes and he’s very cooperative. He knows what it is and what it does.  He asks me: What’s this month’s remedy for? It is not a big deal, like taking a probiotic. I give the pellets to him on a spoon at the kitchen table, then I set a timer so he knows when he can eat, and then we are done until next month. It’s very simple!  I did a few videos for my Facebook group, so people can see the kit and how I give it. They enjoyed seeing it, and learning how simple it is. I had 40,000 members in my group and they were very interested in this.

“I can’t say enough about how we really, truly believe that our son is healthier because of HP. His immune system gets exercised in a safe, nontoxic way.  There’s nothing that could hurt him, no downside to doing this vs. keeping him vaccine free.  Because there’s no downside, why wouldn’t I want to educate his immune system?  There are so many sick kids now. We are always out and about, spending time at my husband’s business. We’ve never kept him from being exposed to sick people, so why wouldn’t we do HP? It can be so effective.

“I’ve seen first hand: he’s even way healthier than kids who are just plain not vaccinated. His health is outstanding! He’s an incredible child: vibrant, bright, robust, healthy, and strong – like a child of the 70’s. When I was growing up we would play outside, go barefoot and get dirty and we were never sick. I never knew anyone with allergies or eczema when I was a kid, now it is the opposite. He’s like a kid from that era, when we were not bombarded with chemicals. He had the Vitamin K shot when he was born, but his birth mom was not vaccinated when she was pregnant and she had a natural birth. We told her we were going to delay the vaccines and she was ok with that. He had breast milk and WAPF formula until age 3, so he had a good start and was not inundated with chemicals in utero. It was nice because as an adoptive mom you have very little control over that.”
